Neptun Interactive is officially funded by the PRESS START program!
We are proud to announce, that our studio is officially part of the “PRESS START: Games Grounding Fund“, as one of 130 Games Founding Grant holders selected by the Press Start jury! The program is organized by “game – The German Games Industry Association” in cooperation with the Foundation for Digital Games Culture. It is funded by the Minister of State for Culture and the Media.
This fortunate event allows us to fully commit our resources to the development of Kiosk Simulator, instead of treating our in-house production as a free-time project while working on customer commissions. A luxury we hadn´t deemed possible until now!
But our team size of 4 will secure progress on both fronts: While 2 members work full time at Kiosk Simulator, the second half will continue to support running customer projects like “Crypto Investigator” with Dr. Reinhard Brüning. This project got recently funded by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and will enter its concrete conception stage now!
For Neptun Interactive this new situation means, that we will accelerate our progress and you will most likely meet us at certain game events and exhibitions around Germany in 2025. A first spot we visit will be the Gamescom LAN 2025, where we will pitch the current state of Kiosk Simulator and jump into the crowd to meet old friends and make new contacts.
